Hexagon Optiv series composite image measuring instrument 443 model of the measurement accuracy and a variety of factors, in general its resolution up to 0.00001mm, reading accuracy of 0.0001mm. but the actual measurement accuracy may be measured by the shape of the object to be measured, the material, the surface characteristics of the environmental factors and the measurement method and so on.

To improve the measurement accuracy of Hexagon 443 equipment, you can start from the calibration and maintenance of the equipment itself, the control of the measurement environment, the measurement of operational practices and software algorithms to optimise and so on, the following are specific methods:

First, equipment calibration and maintenance

Regular calibration: In accordance with Hexagon's recommendations and the requirements of the equipment manual, the equipment should be calibrated regularly, and it is generally recommended to carry out professional calibration every half a year or once a year. The calibration process should use high-precision standard gauges, such as standard blocks, standard balls, etc., to ensure that the measurement system of the equipment is accurate.

Inspection of components: Regularly inspect the mechanical components of the equipment, including guide rails, screws, bearings, etc., to see if there is any wear and tear, looseness or accumulation of impurities. If the guide rail is found to be worn, repair or replace it in time; for loose screws or bearings, tighten or replace them to ensure the accuracy of mechanical movement.

Clean the sensor: keep the optical sensor and contact sensor clean, avoid dust, oil and other pollutants attached to the sensor surface to affect the measurement accuracy. For optical sensors, special lens cleaning fluid and dust-free cloth can be used to gently wipe; contact sensors to check whether the probe is worn, if worn need to replace the probe in a timely manner.

Second, the measurement environment control

Temperature and humidity: the equipment is placed in a relatively stable temperature and humidity environment, the ideal temperature range is generally 20 ℃ ± 2 ℃, humidity in 40% -60%. Air conditioning and dehumidification equipment can be installed to regulate the environmental temperature and humidity, to reduce temperature and humidity changes on the equipment and the measured object.

Vibration and airflow: Choose to install the equipment away from the source of vibration, such as large machinery and equipment, traffic avenues. If necessary, install vibration isolation pads or vibration isolation platform to reduce the interference of external vibration. At the same time, avoid using the equipment in places with strong airflow, such as air conditioning vents, near doors and windows, etc., to prevent airflow from affecting the measurement.

Third, the measurement operation specification

Correct clamping: According to the shape and characteristics of the object to be measured, choose the appropriate clamping tools and methods to ensure that the object to be measured in the measurement process is fixed firmly and accurately positioned to avoid excessive clamping force deformation of the object to be measured, affecting the results of the measurement.

Reasonable planning path: Before measurement, according to the structure of the object to be measured and the measurement requirements, plan a reasonable measurement path and the distribution of measurement points to ensure that the measurement points can accurately reflect the actual size and shape of the object to be measured, to avoid measurement errors caused by too few or uneven distribution of measurement points.

Stable operation: When operating the equipment, the movement should be smooth and slow, avoiding rapid movement or collision of the measuring parts of the equipment, especially in the use of contact measurement, the measuring force should be well controlled to avoid the measuring accuracy being affected by the measuring force being too large or too small.
